Cambridge College has partnered with University Health Plans to support the plan and help with waiver, enrollment, or benefit-related questions. University Health Plans can be reached at 833-251-1734 or info@univhealthplans.com. Students with claim-related questions can contact Wellfleet at 877-657-5030.
Waiver Process
Students covered by a US health insurance plan that is filed and approved in the US and compliant with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) that also provides comprehensive health benefits near the Cambridge College Campus can request to opt-out of the SHIP by completing the waiver form in the navigation menu to the left by the deadline above. Before waiving, compare the cost, coverage, and benefits of the SHIP to your existing plan.
Online-only students are not charged for the insurance plan and are not required to waive. Students in a hybrid or remote program are charged and required to waive.
Dependent Enrollment
Eligible students enrolled in the SHIP may enroll their dependents via the form on the left side of the page by the deadline above. Dependents include your spouse and children under age 26. Dependent coverage, if any, begins and ends with the student's coverage.

To request a qualifying event enrollment form and premium quote, contact University Health Plans at 833-251-1734 or info@univhealthplans.com.
