Students are required to have comprehensive health insurance while attending Franklin Cummings Tech University. If you wish to waive the Franklin Cummings Tech Student Health Insurance Plan, you must document your other coverage each academic year. 

To waive, your plan must be a US-filed and approved, ACA (Affordable Care Act) compliant health insurance plan and must provide access to doctors, specialists, hospitals, labs, pharmacies, and mental health/behavioral health providers in Massachusetts, specifically the campus area. Please note, if you are currently covered under Health Safety Net, MassHealth Limited, or Children's Medical Security Plan, you are NOT eligible to waive the Franklin Cummings Tech Student Health Insurance plan. These types of plans are not considered comparable coverage by Massachusetts State Law, and you will be required to enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan.
